What we collect
Your account details (name, email, a hashed password) and whatever you choose to put on your profile. Anything on your profile is public by design.
Analytics
When someone views your page, taps your card or clicks a link, we record the event with a country, a device type (mobile, tablet or desktop) and the referring website. We don't store IP addresses or set tracking cookies on public pages.
Contact exchange
If you share your details on someone's card or page, we send them to that person only, and email you a copy of their card. Along with what you type, they see the date and your approximate city (from your connection, never your exact location), so they remember where you met. They can export or delete what you shared. To ask for removal, contact that person or us.
Card scanner
When a dexcard user photographs a paper business card, the photo is read by an AI model running on Cloudflare (Workers AI) to fill in the contact form. The photo isn't stored, and the result is only saved if the user confirms it.
Payments
Paid plans are billed by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store them. We keep your plan, renewal date and Stripe customer ID.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data, show ads, or share your information with third parties beyond the providers that run the service: Cloudflare (hosting, storage, AI card scanning), Stripe (payments), our email provider, and Apple or Google if you add your card to their wallet.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account from Settings at any time. This removes your profile, links, cards, analytics and uploaded photos.
